Getting started!

Hi everyone! I've been away from blogland for several years as I've adjusted to my ever-changing role as a wife and a mother, but I've been itching to make my way back and decided to start this blog. I have a million hobbies, ranging from rock climbing and bicycling, to photography and papercrafting, but I really, REALLY love to sew. There's nothing quite like using my creativity to make something beautiful and useful that I can sell or give as a gift.

While I love Pinterest and good 'ol fashioned patterns for project ideas, I've discovered that I really enjoy coming up with patterns and ideas on my own as well. Sometimes I mix and match from other things I've seen, sometimes I follow a premade pattern or tutorial completely, and sometimes I whip something up all by my crazy self. This blog is dedicated to all my stitchy projects (however they come about), and I will try to give credit and leave links as much as possible. And you can bet that I'll be posting tons of tutorials and free patterns for whatever I come up with on my own!

I won't be posting on any sort of regular schedule; just whenever I finish projects or plan something new or have the time. Hopefully you'll start seeing posts soon though - I've sure been busy planning crafty things for Christmas that I can't wait to share!
